Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

Your project – our work

The Federal Law on Environmental Impact Assessment regulates the EIA for projects, complemented by other partly state-specific provisions. It aims to identify significant impacts comprehensively and in an early planning stage, and in the next step to describe and evaluate them.

The EIA contributes to ensure that the project does not cause avoidable or not justifiable environmental damage. An appropriate and systematic preparation of the application documents allows an efficient admission procedure. The realisation, particularly of complex projects of urban development or infrastructure, requires a diligent and interdisciplinary planning process.

Together with the participating technical engineers and in close contact with the responsible authorities the environmental planner contributes to the development of balanced solution concepts ready for admission in terms of effective environmental precaution.

Our expertise – your benefit

The EIA has been one of the most important working fields of Bosch & Partner, having led to a comprehensive expertise: Beside large-scale planning projects of traffic routes (roads, railway, auxiliary plants) and airports we have been in charge of projects of urban planning, extractive industry, energy production, water supply, etc.

You will benefit from our long-time practical and methodological experience in the fields of

  • Environmental impact studies and assessments,
  • Technical and strategic support of procedures,
  • Development of working aids and guidelines on EIA and carrying out of research projects.

An unobstructed planning and authorisation procedure is one of our quality characteristics. We consistently pursue the approach to develop the required professional contributions in an integrative way to assess the environmental effects of your investment project (EIA, landscape conservation support plan, IA in Natura 2000 Sites), which at the same time helps to save financial resources.

Our team of Bosch & Partner
